How MinijobGuard handles data
MinijobGuard is designed as a local-first app. Most data entered in the app, such as shifts, employers, hourly wages, notes, settings, and PDF details, is stored locally on the user's device. There is currently no MinijobGuard account, no own cloud sync, and no own backend server for this app data.
For Pro access, MinijobGuard uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status and entitlements. RevenueCat may process technical identifiers, product identifiers, transaction/entitlement status, and platform information to determine whether Pro is active. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store and, later, Google Play. MinijobGuard does not receive full payment card details.
Website hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Netlify:
Netlify, Inc. 44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300 San Francisco, CA 94104, USA netlify.com/privacyWhen you visit this website, Netlify processes technical access data that your browser transmits automatically, including:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- browser and operating system
- requested file or URL
- referrer URL
- HTTP status code and amount of data transferred
This data is processed for the technical operation, stability, and security of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure website).
If required, a data processing agreement is concluded with Netlify. The retention period for server logs follows Netlify's defaults.
Support emails
When you contact support at minijobguard@mailbox.org, your email address and the content of your message are processed in order to answer your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to the use of the app or a (pre-)contractual relationship; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries).
App data is stored locally
Shifts, employers, hourly wages, notes, settings, and PDF details entered in the app are generally stored locally on your device. There is currently no MinijobGuard user account, no own cloud sync, and no own MinijobGuard server for this app data.
If you use device-level backups (e.g. iCloud Backup, Google Backup), app data may be included in those backups. Such backups are processed by Apple or Google under their own privacy terms.
PDF export and sharing
Timesheet PDFs are generated locally on your device on demand. If you export or share a PDF, the share target you choose (e.g. email app, cloud storage, messenger) may process the contained data independently of MinijobGuard. The privacy terms of that provider apply.
In-app purchases and RevenueCat
To manage Pro access, MinijobGuard uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process the following, in particular to verify and manage your Pro entitlement:
- App user ID or anonymous RevenueCat ID
- product and transaction identifiers, purchase/entitlement status
- device and platform information (e.g. iOS or Android version)
- technical logs for service availability
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for handling and managing the Pro entitlement, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for technical entitlement checks and security.

Apple App Store and Google Play
If you purchase Pro, payment data is processed by Apple or, later, Google under their own privacy terms. MinijobGuard does not receive full payment card details. Only the information necessary to verify your entitlement is processed (see the RevenueCat section above).
Cookies and tracking
This website currently does not use marketing cookies, tracking pixels, or web analytics services. Fonts are provided locally or through our own hosting; Google Fonts are not loaded from Google servers. If analytics services, marketing technologies, externally embedded content, or non-essential cookies are added later, this privacy policy will be updated and consent will be obtained where required.
If analytics, cookie banners, contact forms, embedded maps or videos, externally hosted fonts, or other trackers are added later, this privacy policy and the consent setup must be reviewed and updated before launch.
International data transfers
When using Netlify for hosting and RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management, personal data may be transferred to the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are used, such as adequacy decisions, certifications under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable.
The specific safeguards are described in the privacy and contractual documentation of the respective providers (Netlify, RevenueCat).
